About the Speaker
Dr. Lisa-Mae Williams holds a PhD in Nursing Science from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she earned the Stewart Dissertation Award for her groundbreaking tele-ICU research. She also holds nursing degrees from Barry University and a Zoology degree from the University of the West Indies.
As Chief Nursing Officer at Intercept Telehealth, Dr. Williams leads clinical strategy and quality initiatives. She previously directed Baptist Health South Florida’s nationally recognized tele-critical care programs. A passionate advocate for telehealth policy, she has advised White House officials and serves as a professor, researcher, and national speaker on virtual nursing innovations.
